We’re a scaling startup. We ship real commercials for real brands. You'll bring editorial craft to an AI accelerated pipeline: treat model output like dailies, prototype 5s/15s/30s structures, and tune consistency until the work clears broadcast and brand bars.

What You'll Do
- Prototype commercial structures (esp. 15s): opener/body/supers/end card; cut multiple variants fast
- Edit with AI in the loop: take generated shots/inserts/graphics and make them read (continuity, legibility, pacing)
- Polish for delivery: audio levels, music/SFX selects, color/contrast intent, tasteful motion/titles; hit platform specs
- Systematize: name/version assets; maintain presets/LUTs/title templates; document best practices others can reuse
- Collaborate: pair tightly with the Prompt Artist on shot intent/defaults; partner with producers to hit dates
- Survey tools: try new models/workflows when it helps throughput or quality and share short notes
What You'll Bring
- Reel that proves you can cut ads/trailers/short form spots with taste and speed (link preferred)
- 3-5+ years editing (agency/brand/post/creator). You want tech more than traditional media
- Fluent in Premiere or Resolve (plus After Effects for light graphics); Frame.io for reviews
- Comfort finishing for platform specs (aspect/cadence/safe areas/DB/format/color/etc.) and adding light motion/typography
Nice to have
- Node based thinking (ComfyUI/Nuke/Houdini style)
- Python/JS automation for repetitive finishing tasks
- Broadcast QC familiarity and delivery checklists
Benefits
Remote-friendly, no travel. We ship, learn, and improve the system together. This is a contract-to-FullTime conversion (over 3-6 months). We'll agree on a day-rate and go from there. Benefits + growth path shared early in process.
