We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Automation Engineer to lead the design and development of our automation ecosystems. In this role, you will not only write tests but also build and scale new automation infrastructures. You will work at the intersection of R&D and DevOps, ensuring that quality is deeply integrated into our CI/CD pipelines and development lifecycle.

What you’ll do:

• Infrastructure Development: Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of new, scalable automation frameworks for backend services.
• CI/CD Integration: Take full ownership of integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with R&D and DevOps teams to define testing strategies, influence system design for testability, and drive a culture of quality.
• System Reliability: Monitor, maintain, and optimize the health of the automation infrastructure to support rapid delivery.

What you’ll need:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Automation development with a focus on Infrastructure/Framework building – Must.
• Deep proficiency in AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude) as a core part of your workflow – Must.
• Strong coding skills in one or more: C#, Java, Python, JavaScript...
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control (Git).
• Solid understanding of Backend architecture, REST API testing, and HTTP protocols.
• Experience with SQL and database validation.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with Cloud environments (Azure preferred).
• Experience with Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Playwright.
