We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Publisher Business Development Manager to join our New York office. In this role, you will identify, engage, and secure partnerships with publishers across North and South America to drive video content distribution and monetization. You will play a key role in building and maintaining long-term publisher relationships, ensuring satisfaction, growth, and revenue optimization. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding our reach and driving business success while ensuring seamless collaboration and value for our publisher partners.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain a targeted, dynamic pipeline of sports and media publishers.
- Own the entire sales cycle, from outreach and pitching to negotiation and contract execution.
- Manage and grow existing publisher accounts by addressing concerns, conducting business reviews, optimizing performance, and driving upsell opportunities.
- Lead new publisher onboarding and integration, collaborating with Product, R&D, and Operations teams.
- Develop and tailor commercial materials and pitch decks for different publisher audiences.
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Business Operations, and Legal to streamline publisher operations.
- Partner with Marketing to drive awareness and generate new business opportunities.
Represent WSC Sports at conferences and client meetings, building industry presence and fostering relationships.
Requirements
- Full business proficiency in Spanish and English - A must!
- Passion for sports and the sports media industry.
- 3+ years of experience selling SDKs, video players, content distribution, or monetization solutions to publishers.
- Proven relationships with sports publishers and a track record of successful partnerships.
- Deep understanding of digital advertising formats, monetization models, and ad technology.
- Strong knowledge of key publisher performance metrics (e.g., reach, page views, retention rates).
- Experience working in an international environment.

Compensation, Benefits And Perks
WSC Sports US-based roles range in salary from $120,000 - $150,000.
Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience and education. On top of the base salary, the benefits available for this position are:
