We're searching for a highly skilled and motivated Backend Engineer to join our BackOffice team and make a significant impact on our company's growth. You'll have the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain innovative backend solutions that directly enhance our operational efficiency and scalability. Your work will be essential in supporting our rapid growth and ensuring we can continue to serve our customers seamlessly as we expand.

What you’ll do:

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers in the team.
• Solution Architecture: Design and implement scalable, efficient, and reliable backend systems that support our Gross Margin and Scale objectives.
• Deliver cutting-edge solutions: that are scalable, efficient, and of the highest quality.
• Customer Impact: Your work will directly contribute to our ability to deliver high-quality sports content experiences to fans around the world.
• Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and identify opportunities to leverage them to improve our platform.

What you’ll need:

• Ownership and Accountability: Ability to take extreme ownership and accountability to lead developments end-to-end.
• Drive for Improvement: A passion for identifying inefficiencies and flaws in existing business and software processes, and taking the initiative to implement improvements.
• Deep Technical Expertise: 4+ years of experience in backend software development, with proficiency in microservices architecture .NET, and SQL. (React and node.js - nice to have)
• Cloud Experience: Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with Azure.
• Problem Solving: Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
