About RIVET

RIVET is how construction labor gets to work. RIVET’s software platform transforms the way contractors manage, plan, schedule, and deploy crews in one unified platform. The RIVET team is passionate about leveraging technology to champion the skilled trades, accelerate digital transformation, and make construction an industry of choice for a new generation entering the workforce.

The Role

As a Software Integrations Technician at RIVET, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between customer success and technical integration. Reporting to the Manager, Account Services, you'll be responsible for building and refining integrations using RIVET's integration tooling. Your primary focus will be ensuring seamless data integrations from various sources of truth. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and communication skills as you work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

In this position, you will dedicate around 70-80% of your time to technical tasks such as SQL querying, configuring databases, and building data connections. The remaining 20-30% will involve participating in customer calls, gathering feedback, and making revisions to integrations as needed. You will not lead these calls but will be an active listener, refining solutions based on contractor feedback and ensuring the final integrations meet their requirements.

As the role evolves, you’ll become a key player in managing multiple integration projects simultaneously, overseeing a growing portfolio of integrations, and continually refining RIVET’s processes to scale solutions effectively. You will also have the opportunity to represent RIVET in technical communications with both customers and partners, ensuring that all integrations align with security standards and operational goals.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development and execution of integration solutions using SQL, HTTP, and file extraction methods on a 1-2 week cadence.
  • Configure databases and write efficient SQL queries for production systems.
  • Implement and manage multiple concurrent integration projects, maintaining timelines across 20+ projects per quarter.
  • Receive and incorporate customer feedback on integration demos, making revisions within a 1-5 day timeframe.
  • Configure data transformation and mapping within RIVET's CSSI (Customer Success Serviced Integrations) UI for smooth integration.
  • Monitor and resolve support tickets related to integrations, ensuring a resolution time of fewer than 10 business days.
  • Communicate security implications and tradeoffs of integration options to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Represent RIVET in technical discussions with partners and ERP systems personnel.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, OR equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience writing SQL queries for production databases and working with HTTP APIs.
  • Strong understanding of ETL integrations, including querying data from HTTP APIs and SQL databases.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with attention to detail and prioritization skills.
  • Experience explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with data security best practices in integration processes.

Even Better

  • Experience with installing and debugging Windows services on customer servers.
  • Exposure to the construction industry or workforce management systems.
  • Experience with financial or accounting systems.
  • Technical consulting experience, particularly in SaaS or ERP environments.
  • Knowledge of workforce management software, payroll, or scheduling systems.

  • Competitive compensation and equity packages
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) matching
  • Employee stock option program
  • Commuter (parking) benefits
