What you’ll do

  • Lead WSC Sports’ efforts driving programmatic and direct Advertising business development and go to market in EMEA - with the goal of developing scalable programmatic demand (through direct deals, PMPs and PGs) for its expanding ad inventory
  • Utilize existing network and develop new ties to drive programmatic and direct ad sales for all WSC’s managed ad inventory
  • Develop meaningful and impactful partnerships and channels (eg resellers) to promote WSCs ad inventory across the sports advertising ecosystem
  • Consult WSCs’ rights holder partners (Leagues, Teams, Broadcasters) ad sales teams on the best way to promote and sell advertising against WSCs’ video solutions
  • Manage end to end ad sales cycles from intros to signed IOs, PMP and PGs
  • Manage relationships with all advertising partners (agencies, channels, brands etc) in the region
  • Attend conferences and work with internal marketing stakeholder to promote WSCs awareness and brand name in the sport advertising ecosystem
  • Ensure campaign success and positive WoM by leading channel/brand partner communication pre, during and post campaigns
  • Help prepare performance reports covering industry standard metrics relating to campaign reach, completion rates, viewability and CTR

Requirements

What you’ll need

  • At least 7 - 8 years of experience in commercial / ad sales / business development specializing in video and programmatic, channels ( Publisher, Platform, SSPs and DSPs ) and other strategic demand side partners in EMEA.
  • Strategic knowledge of the EMEA advertiser ecosystem, in terms of video, digital advertising and programmatic buying and trading trends and the ability to craft a compelling GTM Strategy.
  • Experience building and growing a programmatic advertising business / business unit from standstill, with a focus on digital and video advertising.
  • A proven up-to-date network of advertising / marketing budget decision makers across the programmatic buy-side of the EMEA digital advertising ecosystem, including agency trading desks and / or in-housing brand and advertising solutions.
  • Excellent strategic understanding of demand models, programmatic buying models (PMPs, PG deals, etc) acquisition deal cycles, lead generation, funnel stages, pilot structures, tests, etc.
  • Track-record of successfully hitting commercial and revenue KPIs in a hyper-growth business.
  • Intimate understanding of the industry standard ad-tech stack, measurement protocols and upcoming trends that keep WCS Sports inline and ahead of industry developments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
