Detroit-based | Hybrid | Full Time

The Role

You will:

  • Design & extend RIVET’s data pipeline & public-facing APIs
  • Build software solutions to integrate with external data sources
  • Interact directly with customers to discover & solve their data integration problems
  • Manage cloud-based compute architectures

You have experience:

  • Building and maintaining distributed nodejs services (Typescript)
  • Designing, optimizing & querying SQL databases & data-intensive applications
  • Integrating with external APIs
  • Architecting & maintaining public-facing APIs
  • Designing & managing cloud-based server architectures
  • Interacting with customers to build product that solves their problems

You are:

  • Excited about turning customer needs into product solutions
  • An excellent communicator – frequent, high-quality & direct customer interaction is required
  • Comfortable managing your own work in a fast-paced & ever-evolving environment
  • Energized by building internal tools to optimize real-world workflows

Nice to have:

  • Construction industry experience
  • IaC is your best friend
  • There are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary & those who don’t. You understand binary
  • React experience
